Since 2021 I’ve been fulfilling my lifelong dream of finally sitting down and learning to write code that makes computers do stuff. This is how it’s going.
DID I DO?
On October 2024 I saw a tweet where someone had a messaging conversation with themselves in which they wrote whenever they locked their door in order to be able to check later in the day if they did so. I wondered why this wasn’t an app, so I decided to make it.
Did I Do? is meant for daily tasks that people, especially those with conditions such as ADHD or OCD, might forget if they did during the day. A simple task list, but a visually distinctive interactive widget to place on your home screen.
The app was launched in November 2024 and currently has 2000+ users with more than 200 paid subscribers.
VISION OS
I’m all in with Apple Vision Pro and VR/XR in general. My first VisionOS prototype is this Porsche configurator that leverages both fully immersive environments and mixed reality AR. Built with SwiftUI and RealityKit, but hoping to create an Unreal Engine version in the future, which should allow for much higher quality lighting and materials.
FRUITWATCH
In 2022 I wrote a Javascript server app that periodically polled Apple and other stores for iPhone stock levels. I then built a Twitter bot that announced when models came in stock at each store, since at the time there was a stock shortage.
In 2023 I turned this idea into my first SwiftUI app and added support for more products. Affiliate links to vendor sites made this project profitable
