Since 2021 I’ve been fulfilling my lifelong dream of finally sitting down and learning to code; and AI has supercharged my ability to design digital products. This is how it’s going.
MAKE STUDIO
MAKE Studio is a work in progress image and video generation website built for creative teams.
It features:
A node based canvas that allows users to visually generate images and videos, edit and combine them with each other while keeping track of how they got to where they are.
Collaboration tools for creative teams. Shared projects where users can save generations and team members can comment on, approve and even share with clients using public links.
Tools that optimize prompts and highlight specific words for easy tweaking and consistent results.
The project is born from consulting on GenAI to agencies and hearing their pains in generating high quality content consistently.
FORM BUDDY
Utilizing the Google Gemini multimodal API I built a fitness form workout tracker that helps users improve their technique and form when performing exercises at the gym. Users can track their progress as they improve and see their position in a global leaderboard.
The app is designed to be friendly and utilizes interactive elements during the onboarding process to inspire joy and playfulness.
DID I DO?
On October 2024 I saw a tweet where someone had a messaging conversation with themselves where they wrote whenever they locked their door when they left their home. I wondered why this wasn’t an app, so I built it.
Did I Do? is meant for daily tasks that people, especially those with conditions such as ADHD or OCD, might forget if they did during the day. A simple task list, but a visually distinctive interactive widget to place on your home screen.
The app was launched in November 2024 and currently has 2000+ users with more than 200 paid subscribers.
VISION OS
I’m all in with Apple Vision Pro and VR/XR in general. My first VisionOS prototype is this Porsche configurator that leverages both fully immersive environments and mixed reality AR. Built with SwiftUI and RealityKit, but hoping to create an Unreal Engine version in the future, which should allow for much higher quality lighting and materials.
FRUITWATCH
In 2022 I wrote a Javascript server app that periodically polled Apple and other stores for iPhone stock levels. I then built a Twitter bot that announced when models came in stock at each store, since at the time there was a stock shortage.
In 2023 I turned this idea into my first SwiftUI app and added support for more products and stores. Affiliate links to vendor sites make this project profitable every iPhone release.
